During your physiotherapy consultation, it may be required to remove some items of clothing to complete the assessment. We do not remove underwear. It would be advised to wear shorts for a lower limb issue. For ladies, it may be better if you wore a vest top for an upper limb or neck issue. We would recommend bringing some sports clothing/footwear as you may be required to use the gym facilities.

Physiotherapists can directly assess without a doctor’s referral. For insurance purposes, you may be required to have an initial Doctor referral as per insurance providers protocol. This may only require a phone consultation with your GP.

When you attend your physiotherapy consultation you may pay with either cash or card. We have a card machine to accept payment. We can forward an invoice link to an email address or text message for payment. When attending the yoga class, you can pay with cash. If completing the block payment, you can pay cash, or we can create an invoice link that can be sent when required. We use iZettle to process payments.

This will be dependant on your initial consultation. We will create some goals and an action plan, which will help us decide how many sessions will be required.

Clients who book appointments at Chorley Physiotherapy are required to give 24 hours advanced notice of their inability to attend, otherwise they will be charged in full for the appointment they fail to attend. This policy is deemed necessary to avoid denying appointments to patients who may be on the waiting list.
